Poem - Nothing But You

I want to be your reason to smile every morning,
I want to be the last thing on your mind every evening,
It's not because you're my first choice,
but rather, you're my only choice.

Please, won't you see,
That your happiness means,
so very much to me.

There's not a thing I wouldn't do,
To let good fortune shine upon you.
I really do wish you knew.

So now, let it be said,
That, I cannot go without you.
Let it stay in you're head,
I'd do anything for a chance to renew.

And no matter the distance,
No matter how much time spent,
Or wasted,
Not you're past, nor even your future, 

will matter,

So long as you spend it with me.
So long as I spend it with you.
