Poem - Erase

The mistakes we make,

the failures, 

the mishaps we have,

the errors...

We are a collection of memories, 

of past plans gone awry, 

of our shames, and our glories, 

of our trials through time...

Lessons learned and shrugged away,
things done and undone we regret.
Who could handle it, let there be no delay,
we wish to go back, to hit reset,
To live remorsefully, not another day.

Let's do it differently,
fix our mistakes and right our wrongs,
to be more aware, to do things thoughtfully,
Life is so short, and soon it will be gone,

So how can we accept any less?
A chance to perfect our time on earth,
A chance for true success,
Let us all have a new birth.
