Poem - Bewildering Serpent

The Serpent is up to its old tricks,
and the Ox bears its burdens.
But this forest has grown thick,
and its task hardens.

The Ox can see no longer,
It doubts its strength,
wishing it could be stronger.
This wilderness grows in length.

Serpent, don't confound the Ox,
It has taken too much already,
Now drowned in rocks.
This weight is just far too heavy.

The Ox will always be adamant,
Give it another glance,
for it has reason to remain obstinate,
Give it just one chance.
