These dark woods have enveloped me,
no longer is there a path to follow.
No map, no compass, no direction.
The north star refuses to set me free,
and I'm trapped in this misty hollow.

Story - Tempest

Continued from "Under the Trees"

      The 2^nd regiment headed by Captain Griffin had just lost half of their forces, and half of their remaining forces were wounded. Throughout the battlefield, the Listarian forces have taken heavy casualties. Captain Griffin was heading to the 1^st regiment’s position to meet up with Major Ytriub’s forces. They will need to rethink their strategy in order to make up for the losses experienced the day before.

Story - The Corinosian Introduction

      In a distant galaxy, there lies a bright green star at the center of the Corinosian System. This system is the center of much conflict, being a solar system with an unusually high concentration of habitable planets. These include: Corinosia I, Corinosia II, Corinosia III, Tyrannea, Pythoria, Morlornia, and Ashtunis. Take care to remember these names; they will become important throughout the story of the Helviteos Nation.

Story - Dystopian Prison

A boulder fell from the cliff above, missing me by only a few inches. I knew this plan would have been dangerous, but I couldn't have predicted this. I could die just as easily as I had fled. The barking of dogs and shouting of guards was getting closer. They had firearms while I was stuck on a cliff side with raggedy clothing. I felt like an ant on a hill that was about to be sprayed with a hose by some thoughtless and merciless child. I didn't have much time left, but I couldn't find any footholds.

What has happened, what is happening, and what will happen, are to be referred to as the past, the present, and the future, respectively. There is a set of effects or an effect and a set of causes or a cause predicated of every event, or in other words, an event includes cause(s) and (an) effect(s).

     Alerts were erupting from the radio from the other regiments, while HQ was barking orders at the various commanders, until it all stopped in an instant. The Imperial Forces hit much harder than expected, communications across the entire mountain range were lost. Captain Griffin and his regiment were positioned along one of the main passes, and had set up a defensive position to combat the advancement of the Tyrus Empire's forces.

Story - A Cold Omen

Introduction

      Listaria, like all current Corinosian factions, was originally founded on Corinosia I. It has always been a peaceful nation that focuses on trading with the other factions. Over time, Listaria has amassed an enormous amount of wealth. Because of this, Listaria has just entered its first war in over two centuries. The Tyrus Empire expected them to be unprepared, primitive, and inexperienced. However, for centuries Listaria has observed the other nations, and developed defensive technology for use in the event of a conflict, and to protect their freighters from pirates, privateers, or other nations, all looking to secure Listaria’s wealth for their own purposes.
